SCRIPTURE READING:
John 14:1-7

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the one and only pathway to all of God.

Dear Father, I am deeply grateful that I and all mankind can know You through the Lord Jesus, the one and only Way. I am in awe that we can come to You for mercy and redemption through the merit of the Way. I rejoice that we can come to You for an intimate love relationship through the Way. I am humbled that we can come to You in prayer through the Way. I am delighted that we can come to You for provision, protection, wisdom, the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit and everything else we need as Your children through the Way. I give every part of my life to the Way. I join the Apostle Paul in his declaration to the Roman Governor Felix in Acts 24:14a that: “I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect.” I pray that Your Spirit will place an insatiable longing in all believers to know, love, serve and follow the Way. I pray all these things in His lovely name. Amen.
