Dear Father, I am delighted with the multiple declarations in this Scripture passage that You are the True God, and Your Son Jesus Christ is also the True God. I am reminded of John 10:30 where Jesus says: “I and the Father are one,” and that all of Scripture (and the entire universe) are filled with affirmations that the Father, Son and Spirit are God, and that all other gods and idols are false gods. I want to again pray John 17:3, which says: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” I am exceedingly grateful that we can know every-thing we need to know about You by knowing everything we possibly can about Jesus, the True God. I pray that You will hold nothing back in helping me, my family and all other Christians who are hungry for Jesus, to know the manifold riches of His character, power, will, sacrificial love, servant spirit, promises, teachings, prayers and immeasurably more, so that we will become increasingly devoted to the True God. Thank You that in Christ, the True God, we can have the fullness of eternal life, now and forever. I pray that the fact that Jesus is the True God will burn in the hearts and minds of millions of unbelievers, and all obstacles to giving their lives to Him will be overcome. I pray these things in His absolutely true name. Amen.
