The Tree of Life

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Dear Father, I worship the Lamb, Who is the Tree of Life. I rejoice that He is the totality of Life! I am in awe that He is the Life (John 14:6), the Light of Life (John 8:12), the Bread of Life (John 6:35), the Word of Life (Philippians 2:16), the Fountain of Life (Psalm 36:9), the Promise of Life (2 Timothy 1:1), the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25), and the Author of Life (Acts 3:15). I am grateful that as the Tree of Life, He completely provides for the healing and other needs of the inhabitants of the City. I am thrilled that the Tree of Life is the ultimate fulfillment of Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-19, “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” I give all my life to the One Who is all Life. In His name I pray. Amen.
