SCRIPTURE READING:
Isaiah 35:1-2

The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
they will see the glory of the Lord,
the splendor of our God.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST reveals to the world the magnificence and wonder of Almighty God.

Dear Father, I rejoice that in the midst of all spiritual and physical “desert, parched land and wilderness,” the Lord Jesus is the source of all hope, refreshment, cleansing and restoration. I marvel that in Him all Your magnificence, brilliance, grandeur, grace, love and glory dwells. I resoundingly praise Jesus that He is the amazing excellence of the Godhead. I delight that in all circumstances, at all times, He is the Splendor of our God. I pray that I and multitudes of believers today will unite in praising Jesus as King David praised You in Psalm 145:3-5, “Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation com-mends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.” Please help us to turn to Him, submit to Him and completely “live and move and have our being in him” (Acts 17:28), so there will be an unprecedented “bursting into bloom,” “rejoicing greatly and shouting for joy,” and releasing of “the glory of Lebanon and the splendor of Carmel and Sharon” into the Church and all people in this generation. May the Splendor of our God receive all glory and honor. I pray these things in His beautiful name. Amen.
