Jesus is…
The Savior of All People

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
Dear Father, I join Paul in putting all my hope in the living God, Who is the Savior of all People. I rejoice that many Scripture passages (including Jesus’ words in John 3:17) clearly state Jesus is the One and Only Savior You sent from heaven: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” Another passage that resonates with me is found in Peter’s message to the Sanhedrin in Acts 4:10-12: “then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” I know that Jesus being the Savior of all People does not mean that all people are automatically saved; but I praise Him that it is His desire that all people be saved, and that we can only be saved through Him. I am grateful with all my heart that Jesus is my Savior and my eternal hope. I pray that I and all others who have received Him as our Savior will revere Him as our All in All, and constantly testify about His greatness to one another and to every unsaved person we know. I earnestly pray again that You will draw those lost people, and many millions more around the world, to the Savior of all People. In His precious name I ask these things. Amen.
