SCRIPTURE READING:
Daniel 9:24

“Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST has established God’s standard of righteous perfection, the fulfillment of the Law.

Dear Father, I exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, Who fulfills the ministry of the Old Testament Holy of Holies. All hail to Jesus, the Messiah, that He is the Most Holy, in Whom dwells all Your holiness and righteousness. I honor Him that He cannot be moved, improved or defeated, so our righteousness in Him is holy, steadfast and complete! Thank You that You anointed Him to overthrow the works of evil, break the power of cancelled sin, and set up His kingdom of everlasting righteousness! I love to meditate on the reality that Jesus came to “lead captivity captive” (Ephesians 4:8) in Him, and to permanently seal up the enemy of our souls. I join the scene of praise in Rev. 4:8, which acknowledges His victory of absolute holiness: “Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’” I pray that the Most Holy will govern every part of my life and His whole Church. May many unsaved people around us become acutely aware that they too can receive cleansing from their transgressions, and cry out to Him for freedom. I eagerly look forward to the highest revelation of His holiness in the consummation of all things. In His holy name I pray these things. Amen.
