SCRIPTURE READING:
1 Timothy 2: 1-6

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST reconciles the relationship between God and man.

Dear Father, I thank You that there is only one true Mediator (“go-between”) that links holy You and sinful mankind. I am very grateful that the Mediator completely knows and loves You and all people, has the perfect solution to our spiritual conflict, and is completely qualified and willing to bridge the gap between all people and You. I bless Jesus that every person, regardless of race, color, gender, age, social class or any of man’s other identifying categories, can receive His free gift of Mediation. Hallelujah, that my name and the names of every other person who have received the Media-tor as our Savior are permanently written in the Lamb’s Book of Life! I pray You will give believers a strong desire to know the Mediator more, and that any who are unsure of His complete work for them will receive full assurance in Him. May joyful thanksgiving, adoration, praise, honor and passion for the Mediator rise up among us. I pray these things in the name of Life, Jesus. Amen.
