SCRIPTURE READING:
Exodus 15:25-26
Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test. He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST brings the ultimate healing and safeguard for His people.
Dear Father, I bless You for sending Jesus to fulfill Your promise of the Lord Who Heals You for me and all others who receive Him as our Savior. I exalt Him for the demonstration of His power in Matthew 4:23, “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” I rejoice that those people who saw Him heal 2000 years ago were amazed with His authority, and that today He continues to be the same perfect healer of my sin, my physical ailments, and my every other need. All glory to the Lord Jesus Christ! I pray You will help me, my family members and all other believers today to do what is right in His eyes, pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees. I pray You will prevent and heal many diseases in our lives that are plaguing the lost around us. I ask these things in the name of the Lord Who Heals You. Amen.
