SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the illumination and brilliance of the gospel.
Dear Father, I want to live in the brilliance of the Light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ. I rejoice that He is the image of Your limitless brightness, excellence, truth, beauty, splendor, purity, wisdom and righteousness, which illuminates and overcomes the darkness of evil and sin in the world. I pray that I and all other believers will wholeheartedly let the fullness of the Light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ shine in our hearts. In fact, may we be consumed with the Light of the Gospel, worshiping Him and devoting ourselves to Him, speaking of His greatness continually to one another, and proclaiming Him with all our hearts to the many unbelievers all around us. Oh Father, may Your Spirit release this transforming message of Christ to overcome the pervasive blindness of the unbelievers’ minds. Please awaken us all to the majesty of the Light of the Gospel. I pray these things in Christ’s name and for His sake. Amen.
