SCRIPTURE READING:
Daniel 4:37

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST rules from the highest place in the universe.

Dear Father, I praise and exalt and glorify Jesus, Whom You have crowned King of Heaven forever. I honor Jesus, the King of all the vast domain He created in heaven, on earth and under the earth. I joyfully sing the first two stanzas of “Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven” that Henry Lyte wrote from Psalm 103 to praise King Jesus: “Praise, my soul, the King of heaven; To His feet your tribute bring. Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, Who like me His praise should sing: Praise Him, praise Him, Praise Him, praise Him, Praise the everlasting King. Praise Him for His grace and favor, To our fathers in distress. Praise Him still the same as ever, Slow to chide, and swift to bless. Alleluia! Alleluia! Glorious in His faithfulness.” As King Nebuchadnezzar did, I humbly acknowledge that everything the King of Heaven does is right and all His ways are just. I pray that the Holy Spirit will cleanse me, my family members and all believers of all pride and vanity. I earnestly plead that the Spirit will convict believers around the world of everything we have been exalting above the King of Heaven, so that we will repent, and devote ourselves to continually proclaiming His spectacular greatness and our total dependency upon Him. He is worthy of all praise and adoration. In His majestic name I ask these things. Amen.
