Dear Father, I am in awe that as You have life (and are life), You have granted Your Son (Who is one with You) the fullness of life in Himself, and have given Him absolute authority to be the Judge of all creation, including mankind. I am very impressed that He possesses all the characteristics and abilities that are necessary to be the perfect Judge: the highest integrity, complete understanding of all truth, all wisdom and knowledge, total impartiality and fairness, a perfect understanding of justice, unmovable firmness coupled with pure mercy and love, sovereign rule over all punishment, and the power to forgive. I praise Him that His authority as ultimate Judge of me and all people is based upon the sacrifice He made for us as the Son of Man. I thank Him with all my heart for His sacrifice; I bow before Him in worship and adoration; and I submit to Him as righteous and holy Judge. I repent for the ways I have taken the supreme Judge for granted, and I pray that You will do whatever is necessary in my life and in all His followers to make us holy and obedient to Him, as He is holy and obedient to You. I pray that as the end of time draws quickly near, unprecedented numbers of lost people will also hear the Judge’s voice, and immediately put their lives into His hands. In His just and righteous name I pray these things. Amen.
