SCRIPTURE READING:
Acts 28:17-20

Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: “My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans. They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any crime deserving death. The Jews objected, so I was compelled to make an appeal to Caesar. I certainly did not intend to bring any charge against my own people. For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.”

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the complete vindication for His people.

Dear Father, I give glory to Jesus, Who is the true Hope of Israel and of all people and nations—2000 years ago, now and for all eternity. I am in awe that He fulfills every promise and prophecy of hope in the Bible from the beginning of time, including Psalm 62:5-8, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” I pray that Your Spirit will reveal so much of the Hope of Israel to me, my family members and all other believers that we will acquire the same abounding hope in Him which the Apostle Paul had. May we resolutely devote every part of our lives to Him, even to the point of being bound with chains for Him. Please do whatever is necessary in the Jewish people around the world today so they will receive Him as their only Hope too. In His glorious name I pray these things. Amen.
