Dear Father, I worship You and Christ, that You are the head of Christ and He is the Head of Every Man. I rejoice that He came to earth to do Your will, say what You wanted Him to say, reveal Who You are, and give You all glory. I praise Jesus that His final words on the cross in John 19:30, “It is finished,” powerfully confirm that He submitted completely to You and finished all the work You assigned Him to do on earth. Hallelujah! I am also deeply grateful that Your headship of Christ is fully passed on to His headship of all men who give their lives to Him. I am amazed that His wisdom, power, authority and holiness are infinite, yet He loves the men, keeps them, never leaves them, forgives them, covers them with His grace, heals them, and infinitely more! I pray that multitudes of Christian men will repent for taking the Head of Every Man for granted, and for every part of their lives they have been unwilling to submit completely to His headship. Please help them from now on to worship, revere and obey Him as Head of every part of their lives. In accordance with the nature of head-ship You have directed in today’s Scripture passage, I pray that women and children will submit to Christ’s headship through their husbands and fathers. I pray these things in the name of Christ. Amen.
