“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
Dear Father, What a spectacular finale the Bright Morning Star is to the past year of focusing on the greatness of Christ through His names! I say “Hallelujah” that the Bright Morning Star is the last “I am” that Jesus calls Himself! I think about how the celestial morning star in the sky is the light that can be seen before the sunrise of each day. I am enthralled that the divine Morning Star, Who most brightly (most brilliantly) shines in the spiritual dark-ness, will soon usher in His return to earth and His eternal kingdom. My imagination can only begin to fathom the radiant brightness and beauty that Jesus possesses. I exalt Him that all the authority and attributes of the Godhead are manifested in His inexhaustible and all-consuming bright-ness! I am forever grateful that one day He will lead all who have called upon Him into His blessed presence. I praise the Bright Morning Star that He merits being called the “Star of Eternal Hope” for me and all of His people. I revere and adore the One Who is our All, and is in All. I pray that I and His entire bride worldwide will join Your Spirit in fervently praying for the Bright Morning Star to “Come!” I pray also that You will give many millions of unsaved people an unbearable thirst for the Savior, and that they will fervently invite Him to come into their lives. I ask all these things in Jesus’ bright name. Amen.
