SCRIPTURE READING:
Psalm 18:46-50

The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God my Savior!
He is the God who avenges me,
who subdues nations under me,
who saves me from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes;
from a violent man you rescued me.
Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing the praises of your name.
He gives his king great victories;
he shows unfailing love to his anointed,
to David and to his descendants forever.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST, as our Savior God, delivers people into abundant life in Him.

Dear Father, I rejoice with all my heart that the Lord Jesus Christ lives, and is the solid Rock for all eternity! I highly exalt Christ that He has always been God, and that He has all the power, authority and grace to rescue all who believe in Him from the penalty of their sins. Blessed be God my Savior! Blessed be the God of my Salvation! Hallelujah! All hope is in Him; all freedom is in Him; all righteousness is in Him; all love is in Him; all peace is in Him; and all victory is in Him! I pray that all of us who have received Him as our Savior will be so grateful and devoted to Him that we will praise Him continually, hunger to know all we possibly can about Him, invite Him to rule and reign over every part of our lives, and joyfully speak of His wonders whenever we are together. This reminds me of the first stanza of “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee,” by Henry van Dyke: “Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love. Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee, Op’ning to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; Drive the dark of doubt away. Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day!” May Your Spirit very soon cause multitudes of unsaved people to become desperate to know God my Savior too. I pray these things in His blessed name. Amen.
