SCRIPTURE READING:
Revelation 19:11-15

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is unwaveringly dependable in all of His deeds.

Dear Father, I exalt the white horse’s rider, Who is called Faithful and True. I rejoice that He is the victorious Messiah, in Whom dwells all the faithfulness and truth of the Godhead. I watch in eager anticipation that He will soon go forth to conquer the beast and the false prophet, and subject the whole world to Himself. Hallelujah! Jesus alone is faithful and worthy of the confidence of His whole Church in delivering us from all our enemies; and He is true to all the Biblical promises that have been made about Him-self! I marvel that, with perfect justice, the Faithful and True judges and makes war, His eyes are like all-consuming, blazing fire, and on His head are the many crowns which testify to His holy character and deeds. I think of the many Scripture declarations of His might in battle, including Psalm 45:3-4, “Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.” I pray that You will impress upon me and many other believers the renowned faithfulness and truth of Jesus, so we will die to all of self and live in all of Him. Please convince us that all our hope is in Him, in Whose name I pray these things. Amen.
