SCRIPTURE READING:
Psalm 90:1-4
Lord, you have been our dwelling place
throughout all generations.
Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
You turn people back to dust,
saying, “Return to dust, you mortals.”
A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night.
SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST, as God’s Son, is the Lord of time, but exists beyond the bounds of time.
Dear Father, My security and hope are strengthened even greater through this powerful declaration that the Godhead existed before all creation! I worship Jesus, that as part of that Godhead, He is fully God, and therefore He is Everlasting to Everlasting. I exalt Jesus that as well as existing before time, He is beyond all constraints of time. All glory to the immortal Jesus! I exalt Him that He brought forth the earth and all the rest of the universe out of the vast pre-creation expanse, and that He continues to rule and reign over His creation forever. I pray that I and all others who are meditating about Him as the Everlasting to Everlasting will be in such profound awe of Him that we will bow before Him, and place every part of our lives and the world around us into His everlasting and almighty hands. Nothing is too difficult for Jesus! I pray that You will fuel a widespread grassroots awakening of the whole Church to the fullness of Your Son, the Everlasting to Everlasting. Thank You that those of us who have put our trust in Jesus have the complete assurance of dwelling with Him forever! In His most excellent name I pray these things. Amen.
