Jesus is…
Crowned With Glory and Honor

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
Dear Father, I am in awe that You made Jesus, the Son of Man, a little lower than the angels; but, because He suffered death for all people, He is Crowned With Glory and Honor (the highest honor). I am again amazed at Paul’s description in Ephesians 1:20-23 of what Jesus being crowned with glory and honor partially consists of: “he [God] raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” I pray that I and multitudes of other followers of the One Who is Crowned With Glory and Honor will devote our lives to worshiping Him, yielding ourselves to Him, serving Him, obeying Him and speaking of His greatness to one another. May we heartily sing more of “Crown Him With Many Crowns” by Matthew Bridges: (verse 3)“Crown Him the Lord of Life! Who triumphed o’er the grave; Who rose victorious in the strife, For those He came to save. His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring, And lives that death may die.” I pray these things in Christ’s glorious name. Amen.
