SCRIPTURE READING:
Romans 8:31b-39

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is our Savior and our God.

Dear Father, I am in awe of the Person of Christ Jesus our Lord. I rejoice in Peter’s declaration about Him in Acts 2:36, “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah (Christ).” I worship, honor, praise and revere Christ Jesus our Lord, the Anointed One, Messiah, King, Son of God, One and Only, Light, Prince, Savior, Redeemer, Lord, Master, Ruler and substantially more. I exalt Him that He existed with You before time began, and that You sent Him to earth to reveal Your majesty and love, save mankind from our sins, and rule heaven and earth forever. I am eternally grateful that He is at Your right hand interceding for me and all other believers, and that nothing and no one can separate us from Your love in Him. Hallelujah! We are more than conquerors through Him! I pray that Your Spirit will deluge us now with the vastness of Who Christ Jesus our Lord is, so that our passion for Him and abandonment to Him will be like Peter’s. I pray these things in Christ’s splendid name. Amen.
