SCRIPTURE READING:
1 Timothy 1:1-2

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,

To Timothy my true son in the faith:

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the embodiment of all hope.

Dear Father, I worship Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) Jesus (the Savior of the world), the blessed Son You sent to earth to reveal the depths of Who You are and to redeem us from our sins. I am in awe that Christ Jesus possesses and reveals all of the promises, attributes, nature, authority and glory of the Godhead. I am delighted that You have given Him all power in heaven and on earth. I praise Jesus that all hope for all time is in Him. He is the Solid Rock, the Secure Foundation, the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Constant Intercessor, our Advocate, our Good Shepherd, our Great High Priest and all else that comprises His supremacy. Truly, He is Christ Jesus Our Hope! I am exceedingly grateful that in Christ Jesus, I and all other believers have the unqualified assurance (hope) that the government of our lives and of this world are upon His all-sufficient shoulders (Isaiah 9:6), and that one day He will return for His people and establish His kingdom on earth. Please help us to know the fullness of Christ Jesus Our Hope and to live in all the hope we were meant to have in Him. I pray that we will be so filled with the Spirit of Christ Jesus our Hope that all lost people in our spheres of influence will ask us to share the reason for our hope with them. In Christ’s name I pray these things. Amen.
