SCRIPTURE READING:
Revelation 1:17-18
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST, even in His humanity, lives forever.
Dear Father, I again praise Jesus Christ, Who, though He was once dead, He is Alive For Ever and Ever! I rejoice that He lived with You for all eternity past, gave life and light to all creation at the beginning of time, was born to earthly life as the Son of Man, rose from death to life while He was still a man, and is Alive For Ever and Ever now in heaven and when He returns to earth one day. Hallelujah! I praise Jesus that none of the prophecies, promises and plans about Him will ever be cut short or unfulfilled, because He is absolutely Alive For Ever and Ever. I exalt the Alive For Ever and Ever, so that we will trust Him with every part of our lives and overflow with abounding hope. I pray that the many people I know who have no true hope of eternal life, will become convinced that Jesus is Alive For Ever and Ever, and intently put their lives in His hands. I pray these things in the victorious name of Jesus. Amen.
