SCRIPTURE READING:
Isaiah 28:16-17

So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.
I will make justice the measuring line
and righteousness the plumb line;
hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie,
and water will overflow your hiding place.

SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST has been placed by God as the unshakable understructure of creation, of the Church and of all our lives.

Dear Father, I continue exalting Jesus that He is the tested stone and precious corner-stone, which is the key building block of His being the Sure Foundation upon which His Church is built. I praise the Sure Foundation that He is 100% trustworthy, steadfast, certain, unchanging, firm, unmovable and secure. I am very grateful that You designed the Church to be built upon His inexhaustible love, wisdom, mercy, holiness, truth and peace. I rejoice that our salvation and every other part of our lives are sure through His divine sacrifice, promises, teachings, prayers, prophesies and powers. Please help me and all other believers to know more and more about the Sure Foundation, so we will cement our lives totally to Him, and build straight and true character, values, mindsets, lifestyles and priorities upon Him alone. I pray that we will trust in Him so completely, that we will never be dismayed, regardless of any circumstances which come into our lives. I pray that in this desperate, unsure world in which we live, great numbers of lost people will urgently desire to build their lives on the Sure Foundation too. In the unfailingly sure name of Jesus I pray these things. Amen.
