SCRIPTURE READING:
Acts 2:22-23
“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.
SIGNIFICANCE:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is personally validated by the heavenly Father.
Dear Father, I rejoice at yet another evidence of the abounding confidence we can have in Jesus! Thank You that He is a Man Accredited by God through the miracles, wonders and signs You did through Him! Hallelujah that there could be no greater accreditation or affirmation of Who Jesus is than by Your mighty works and deeds being fulfilled through Him! I am convinced that this is because of the total dependency upon You that He stated in John 5:19-21, “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.” I pray that I and all other believers will continually worship and honor Jesus, the Man Accredited by God, and, as He is completely devoted and obedient to You, we will be likewise to Him. And, please also help the unsaved people we know to believe in Jesus. They need Him so much! I pray these things in His blessed name. Amen.
