…He has this name written:
Revelation 19:16

Supreme Christ

Right now King Jesus is filling the universe with his sovereignty, his majesty and his life-giving activity.

In the Bible, God the Father announces that his Son – crucified, risen and ascended on high – is to reign supreme in everything, forever. Which means, what Jesus will be Lord of ultimately he is Lord of right now; all the glory he one day will openly display belong to him right now. Is this how you see Jesus? Or is it possible you’ve only seen a partial picture of the true Jesus? There may be a whole lot more of Jesus waiting for Christians to explore and experience than we ever imagined. Would you like to see your partial picture of Jesus filled-in with the fullness of his spectacular supremacy? If so, you’re not alone.

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)

Current Crisis

Far too many Christians today are not Christ-driven because our vision of him is too small.

We’ve become shortsighted about Jesus— we know far too little about the person, purposes, promises and power of God’s exalted, reigning Son. Christian leaders everywhere are calling this a crisis of monumental proportions. So often we try to place Jesus at our service. We put Jesus at the center of where we’re headed and what we’re doing and we expect him to meet our needs. He’s become more our “mascot” than our Monarch. This crisis often renders God’s people spiritually lethargic, aim-less, hopeless, helpless, useless. Has this crisis about the greatness of Christ today diminished your walk with him — the way you see him and love him and live for him?

“But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached…you put up with it easily enough.” (2 Corinthians 11:3-4)

Christ Awakening

Well, there is hope. A Christ Awakening begins when God’s Spirit uses God’s Word to reintroduce God’s people to God’s Son for ALL he is right now.

The Father is ready to rescue his children from the crisis about Christ. He’s moving to bring us back to his Son for ALL he is. Many leaders today sense he is preparing a whole generation of Christians for an unprecedented “Christ Awakening.” A Christ Awakening is so wonderfully refreshing that often believers feel as if they’re meeting King Jesus all over again. Could the Father be preparing to bring you into the joys of a Christ Awakening? Is it time for you to re-draw your picture of Jesus by exploring him and experiencing him in whole new dimensions of his spectacular supremacy?

“…You have a reputation of being alive but you are dead. Wake up!” (Revelation 3:1-2)

“Wake up, sleeper and rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14)

“The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed…Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Romans 13:11-14)
