Picking Up Where I Left Off
In my last blog post, I shared with you the amazing story of Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com, and how he built his organization from $10,000 to a trillion-dollar operation in just 25 years.
There I shared with you his primary operating principle—what he calls the secret of his success—his “Regret Minimization Framework.” I showed you how to apply that framework to every decision you face in order to enjoy victory in your daily walk with Christ.
In addition, I discussed how to combine it with a second, more promising principle that renders every decision-making moment even more failure-proof—what I called the “Christ Maximization Framework.”
There is a resource some refer to as the “Amazon.com of the Church” that exists exclusively to empower Christians everywhere to practice those two key priorities for the sake of the King of Glory, Jesus Christ.
ChristNow.com—the Amazon.com for eager Christians everywhere!
Have you looked at the site lately?
Why Is the Image of the Amazon River
So Appropriate for Bezos—and for Us?
Believe it or not, originally Jeff Bezos wanted to call his new online bookstore “Cadabra” from the magical incantation “Abracadabra”—until his lawyer misunderstood what Jeff said and asked him why he was calling the site a “cadaver”!
So, of course, Jeff immediately went searching for a new name!
Because Bezos was so certain that in the future his online store would flourish and grow—offering millions of books to start with but then expanding to an unlimited inventory of products from microwaves to shoes to gourmet wines to videos—he searched for a far more accurate picture of what he had in mind for his business, and he found one: the Amazon River in South America.
Consider these fascinating facts about the Amazon River:
- It carries more water than any other river in the world.
- It is the second-longest river in the world—4,000 miles.
- It has more than 1100 tributaries.
- It can transform from six miles wide much of its length to 120 miles across in places during flood seasons.
- Wherever it goes, its rich nutrients create fertility in whatever part of the earth this huge river touches.
In the same way, Amazon.com delivers more products to customers than any other site on the web, doing so on a global scale and enriching countless lives in the process.
But it is able to do all of this only because of the significant variety of “tributaries”—the goods and services that feed into it—coming from every part of the world.
This Explains How and Why ChristNow.com
Has Become the “Amazon.com” of the Church
ChristNow.com also is like the mighty South American waterway.
Like a river, ChristNow.com overflows with resources and social media ministries focused on the supremacy of Christ—more than any other site on the web.
Like a river, its reach is wide and deep, stretching across this nation as well as across many other nations.
Just as the Amazon River incorporates hundreds of tributaries feeding into it, ChristNow.com offers tools and ministries in abundance that draw from many streams in the Body of Christ and then flow out to many Christians and unbelievers around the world.
Like a life-giving river—but unlike Amazon.com—everything at ChristNow.com is free to all so that everyone may come to take advantage of the life-giving gifts it offers.
Finally, just as Amazon.com, by the nature of what it provides, enhances people in so many ways, even so ChristNow.com exists for this one overriding purpose: to enlarge Christians’ vision of the greatness and glory of Jesus and of all he is today; and then to feed and fuel believers’ heart passion for him and our daily obedience to him.

Our Fertile “Tributaries”
Here are some of the categories of blessings waiting for you at ChristNow.com:
Tributaries Bringing Life
In these “tributaries,” Christians find many ways to rediscover for themselves the supremacy of God’s glorious Son and fullness of life in him.
For many, it’s like meeting Jesus again for the first time.
This often happens, for example, through creative artwork about Jesus; by drawing on Christ-focused worship and teaching videos; by meditating on Scriptures or famous quotations about the greatness of our Savior; or by uncovering more truths of all he is through creative, in-depth video and podcast curricula.
As you can see, ChristNow.com consists of a wide variety of opportunities to help you explore and experience more of who Jesus is today—thus, it has become “the Amazon.com for Christians everywhere.”
And in light of the emerging Christ Awakening movement in this nation, its role will only greatly increase in the next few years.
And all of it is FREE!
“But with so many options,
where do I start?”
I recommend that you start unpacking new adventures in your life in Christ by taking advantage of one of these SEVEN opportunities:

Come on in! The water is fine!
Similar to what Ezekiel envisioned concerning a mighty work of God being like a mighty river, ChristNow.com has become a significant outpouring in our generation that the Lord is using to fulfill that vision through the ascended Redeemer, Jesus. Don’t miss it!
I saw water pouring out from under the Temple porch . . . it was a river over my head, water to swim in, water no one could possibly walk through. [It] descends . . . to the sea of stagnant waters. When it empties into those waters, the sea will become fresh. Wherever the river flows, life will flourish . . . because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds (Ezekial 47, The Message, emphasis added).
